If you are thinking about buying a conservatory then there is certainly a lot to consider. By following these simple steps the process can be demystified and you will have far more confidence about not only what you need to do, but how to do it.

As well as thinking about what looks the best you should also be practical and consider what options you are likely to get the most use out of, and what options will allow you to get cater for however many people live in your house, how many seats you will need and other practical decisions that will have to be made.
3. Work out your budget. If you do not work out your budget then you could end up spending more than you wanted to, or you could also end up not keeping track of your costs at a later stage. Once you have worked out your budget, then be sure that you manage to stick to it. There are many ways that you can do this, but a great way it to load of a spreadsheet and start doing some calculations. Once you have an idea in your head, you can then start asking for quotations.
4. Always choose to work with a company that has testimonials on their website. If you buy conservatories from someone who does not then you are asking for trouble. Why not ask to see examples of their work, or ask for a customers telephone number so you can ask what their experience was like. Also look at their designs and see if they fit with what kind of look and feel you are looking for. Once you have got that done, there is really no stopping you. 5. The next step is to get planning permission. If any of your neighbours also have a conservatory then there really is not too much to worry about because it is likely that you will be able to get it.
